First, material management

1. Principles of SMT material management

A.First-in, first-out: The materials that are first stored in the warehouse are used firstly.

B. Timely and appropriate amount: master the timeliness of the various links in the warehouse and the appropriate amount of quantity.

C.The account is consistent: the daily entry and exit records are required to be consistent with the physical objects.

D. Daily inventory: Warehouse personnel must be responsible for themselves’ work every day.

2. SMT material management method

A.Board management: The material information such as the material number, quantity, and date of entry is listed in the form of a table, and the board is placed on the end surface of the shelf.


B. Storage management: Place different materials in different areas of the shelf, that is, the storage area, fixed frame and positioning of the materials.

Third, the main points and methods of control of temperature and humidity sensitive components

1. Environmental control. The ambient temperature of the workshop is 18~28°C, and the relative humidity is between 40% and 60%. When stored, the relative humidity of the moisture-proof box is <10%, and the temperature is between 18~28°C.


2. Process control.

A. When the production line unpack vacuum-packed for moisture sensitive components, it is necessary to wear an electrostatic wristband or an electrostatic glove to open the vacuum packaging on a table with good static electricity protection. After unpacking, check whether the humidity card changes meet the requirements (according to the label requirements on the package).

B. When the production line receives the bulk moisture sensitive component, it is necessary to confirm whether the component is qualified according to the “Hyper Sensitive Component Control Label” and use the qualified component preferentially.

C. After the moisture sensitive component (IC) is unpacked, the exposure time in the air before reflowing shall not exceed the level and life of the humidity sensitive component.

D. For ICs that need to be baked and failed, hand it over to the quality control personnel for rejection and return to the warehouse.
