SMC/SMID components (SsD) transportation, storage and use requirements

Unsuitable storage conditions can cause component quality to deteriorate, resulting in poor solderability. The storage conditions of components must be standardized.

1. SMC/SMD storage conditions (quoted from the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC standard)

A. Temperature: -40~30 °C.

B. Relative humidity: 10%~75%.

C. Total storage time: should not exceed 2 years (from manufacturing to user use). At least 1 year of use in the hands of the user

D. The minimum packaging unit (SPU) should not be opened during storage. The SPU is best kept in its original packaging.

E. Do not store in an environment with harmful gases and harmful electromagnetic fields.

2,The transportation, storage and use requirements of electrostatic sensitive components (SSD)

A. SSD must not fall to the ground during transportation, and should not be detached at any time.

B. The relative humidity of the storage SSD warehouse is 30%~40%.)

C.SSD should be kept in the original packaging during storage. If it is necessary to replace the packaging, use a container with anti-static properties.

D. Place an anti-static special label on the location where the SSD device is placed.

E. Use the visual method to distribute the SSD device and count the number in the original package of the SSD device.

F. When writing, wiping, and protecting information on the EPROM, the writer/erase should be fully grounded and an anti-static bracelet should be worn.

G. Operators of assembly, welding, repairing, debugging, etc. must operate according to the requirements of electrostatic protection.

H. Tested and inspected SMAs are sprayed once with an ion gun prior to packaging to eliminate static charges that may accumulate.
